Meet Your Supervisor

Residents of Hendry County,

I am thrilled and deeply honored to share some exciting news with you. I, Sherry Taylor, have recently received the appointment as the Hendry County Supervisor of Elections by our Governor. It is a privilege that I do not take lightly, and I am acutely aware of the immense responsibility that comes with this role.

I want to take a moment to express my profound gratitude for the invaluable mentorship and guidance I have received over the past decade, under Brenda Hoots.  I have had the privilege of learning from one of the finest in our field. Brenda's dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to the elections office have been nothing short of remarkable. Her legacy is a testament to the noble work we do, and I am truly humbled to follow in her footsteps.

As I embark on this new journey as Hendry County Supervisor of Elections, I carry with me the lessons, insights, and dedication instilled in me during my time working alongside Brenda. My goal is clear: to uphold the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and security in our electoral process.

The upcoming 2024 Election Cycle holds significant importance, and I am excited to be part of it. I am committed to ensuring that the voters of Hendry County continue to have access to elections that are not only fair and accurate but also conducted with the utmost security and transparency.

In closing, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the trust and confidence placed in me. I look forward to serving the people of Hendry County diligently and with unwavering dedication. Together, we will continue to strengthen the foundation of our democracy.
